Some thoughts on a New Year.

Today is almost the last day of the first month of the new year.  2011!  I have lived more than half of a century.  I thought at one time that 2000 was the end of the world.  It just goes to show teenagers are not that smart.  Next month I will be 61 years old.  At 20 I thought 60 was as old as I would every like to be.  Now it ain't so bad.  Well just a few thought on an weekend.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Have a very Good Year!

I have been thinking about the new year.  I am actually optimistic about the year 2011.  I have spoken to several people and they are optimistic also.  I am going to try to keep the good feelings going.  Have a wonderful year.  May it be the best every.

Happy New Year!

Well the holidays are over.  It is a NEW Year.  Between Christmas and New Year's Day, Tom's Son, Daughter-in-law, and two Grandkids (Owen and Eliana) came to visit. We had a wonderful time.  We went to the Children's Museum, NASA, and the Natural History Museum.  We did it on three separate days.  Here are some pics of the good times.

Eliana on the couch waiting for the adults to get ready to go.

 Everyone at NASA!
What is everyone looking at?
Here we are at the Children's Museum.  Hats and all.

This butterfly stayed on my hand almost the whole time we were in the butterfly exhibit.  I named him Harold.
